    We are pleased to announce the general availability of Red Hat Developer Hub (RHDH) 1.3.

    Red Hat Developer Hub is a platform designed to streamline and enhance the developer experience within enterprises. Built on the foundations of Backstage, a CNCF open-source project, Developer Hub offers a customizable, centralized environment for developers to access the tools, resources, and documentation they need to build and deploy applications efficiently

    RHDH is supported across Red Hat OpenShift, AWS EKS, Azure AKS and Google GKE and integrates with most DevOps tools like GitHub, GitLab, Jira, and Jenkins, PagerDuty, etc., making it easier for developers to collaborate and allows self-service of best practice deployment patterns.

    New features in Red Hat Developer Hub 1.3

    Here is a summary of new features in the Red Hat Developer Hub 1.3 release:

    • Users can import a custom portal Theme through dynamic plugins
    • Bulk import plugin for quick onboarding of Git org’s & repo’s into the Catalog.
    • New Software template to create a dynamic Frontend plugin
    • New Software template to create a dynamic Backend plugin
    • Support for external Redis caches 
    • Migration Toolkit for Applications plugin is now available as a community plugin
    • Red Hat OpenShift Dedicated is fully supported

    Enhancements in Red Hat Developer Hub 1.3

    Here is a summary of enhancements in the Red Hat Developer Hub 1.3 release:

    • The Topology plugin now visualizes VMs along with containers
    • Ability to manage sidebar navigation items through dynamic plugins
    • Ability to add any plugins to the Home page of the portal
    • Revamped Product Documentation
