Node.js and JavaScript at the edge: The why, what, and how

As more and more enterprises move from simpler IoT systems to deploying devices that can do more processing at the network edge, it becomes easier—and  more cost effective—to develop, deploy, and manage applications in the same way we do for existing IT systems. That only strengthens the case for using JavaScript and Node.js.
