DevNation Day India 2021 - Understanding GitOps continuous delivery using ArgoCD
Abstract
In this talk we are going to learn about how to use argoproj, which is a collection of tools for getting work done with Kubernetes. We will delve into details of Argocd, which is a Declarative GitOps CD tool for Kubernetes and look at the live demo of CI/CD with Jenkins as CI. Post that we’ll look at the overview of Argo-Rollouts, which will provide advanced deployment capabilities like blue-green, canary, canary analysis and progressive delivery and Argo Workflows, which is a container-native workflow engine for orchestrating jobs on Kubernetes.

Neependra Khare is the Founder and Principal Consultant at CloudYuga Technologies, which offers training and consulting services around cloud-native technologies such as Kubernetes, Prometheus, Service Mesh, etc. He is an CNCF Ambassador and Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA). He is based out of Bangalore, India. Neependra has authored Introduction to Kubernetes course on Edx for the CNCF, which has been taken by more than 200K participants.
