Principal Software Engineer
Robert Krawitz
I'm an industry veteran of over three decades, working as an individual contributor, manager, and technical project manager mostly focusing on scalability and performance of high performance computer systems and parallel networks.. Following these roles both at startups as well as larger companies, I joined Red Hat in 2017 initially as an OpenShift developer, then moved into the Scalability and Performance organization as an individual contributor in 2019. I have worked on analysis and tuning of performance on mainly OpenShift-related projects since then. Outside of work, I enjoy photography and in particular following my beloved MIT Engineers basketball, football, and soccer teams. I have also over the years led and contributed to numerous open source projects, including leading the Gutenprint project for many years and greatly improving the performance of my favorite image management project, KPhotoAlbum.
