Serverless Kafka on Kubernetes | DevNation Tech Talk

Apache Kafka has emerged as a leading platform for building real-time data pipelines and for high-throughput/low-latency messaging. With its scalable and distributed design, #ApacheKafka is a good fit for platforms like Kubernetes. Knative, on the other hand, is a Kubernetes-based platform that comes with a set of building blocks to build, deploy, and manage modern serverless workloads. In this session, we will walk you through an end-to-end demo, showing the lifecycle of an event-driven application that is based on Apache Kafka. You'll see integration of events and how your serverless application can be hooked up to an Apache Kafka-backed firehose and connect your service for processing incoming events. If you are interested in learning about serverless developer experience on Kubernetes with Knative and Apache Kafka, this session is for you.
