Node.js lead for Red Hat and IBM

OpenJS World is almost upon us. This event brings together both the JavaScript and Web communities, which include not only Node.js, but other OpenJS Foundation projects such as Electron, webpack, and more. This year OpenJS World is part of  Open Source Summit North America which offers opportunities for sharing and learning with a broader audience, something that we are looking forward to. We are proud that Red Hat is a sponsor of the Open Source Summit supporting this collaboration.

    Talks

The Node.js team members from Red Hat and IBM have 4 talks this year sharing our work and experience in the Node.js project and the OpenJS foundation. These include:

We hope to see you at those talks and throughout the conference for a chat. For a full list of the various keynotes and talks, check out the Open Source Summit and OpenJS World schedules.

Red Hat also has a booth at the conference and our Node.js team members will be there from 5-7 on Wednesday during the sponsor showcase. We hope to see you there.

    Collaborator Summit

OpenJS World would not be complete without a collaborator summit and I’m looking forward to those discussions. Our team members will either be leading or active participants in many of the sessions and it’s a great opportunity to work on key issues within the projects.

The Summit is on May 9th and is for maintainers or core contributors of an OpenJS project, and for any open source enthusiast who is interested in participating. This is the time for deep dives on important topics, and to meet with people working across your favorite JavaScript projects.
