Alberto Jesús Gutiérrez Juanes, often known as "aljesusg," is a Spain-based software engineer and open-source enthusiast currently working at Red Hat. With a strong focus on cloud-native technologies, he is actively involved in developing solutions for hybrid IT environments and service mesh observability.
Alberto is a key contributor to prominent open-source projects such as Kiali, an observability console for Istio, and ManageIQ, a platform for managing virtualized and cloud infrastructures. His technical expertise spans a wide array of languages and tools, including Go, TypeScript, Java, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
Beyond his code contributions, Alberto is an active member of the Google Developer Group (GDG) community. Passionate about continuous learning, he is currently exploring advancements in AI and the Model Context Protocol (MCP). When not coding, he enjoys spending time in the mountains.
